Karen W. David, MD

Karen W. David, MD is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and served her residency at St Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where she stayed an additional year as Chief Pediatric resident. Dr David has been working at Kressly Pediatrics since 2006. She lives in Montgomery County and enjoys working in the Bucks County area.  I am honored to be a judge for Girls Empowered, an amazing organization helping girls in our community rise to their true potential.

Claire Russell is the Founder of Russell Tutoring, which specializes in impactful K-12 academic tutoring, SAT & ACT test prep, and Mindfulness Coaching. Claire is passionate about helping students master the mental game of test-taking with proven mind-body skills. She is thrilled to spend time reading about so many inspiring girls in our area. Their stories remind us that empowered girls can change the world!

Kellie McGowan

Kellie is a life-long resident of Bucks County.  A partner in Obermayer’s Business & Finance Department in the Doylestown office, Kellie co-chairs the Land Use and Zoning team. Kellie received her law degree from Temple University and currently practices in a broad range of real estate, zoning and land use matters.  Representing clients in real estate transactions, securing subdivision and land development approvals for residential, commercial, and industrial developments; zoning hearing board applications; and varied business matters. 

Kellie is active in the Bucks County community.  She serves on the Board of Directors of the Bucks County Conservation District.  She also serves as the secretary of Lenape Valley Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that offers mental health services to children and adults throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties, as well as the Park and Recreation Board of Doylestown Township.  Kellie has 2 teenage kids and is honored to work with Girls Empowered in support of girls in our community.
